CME Field Day

Our class enjoyed Field Day on Monday. The games were so much fun. We got to have relay races, play tennis, run in a sack race, play an interesting game of Twister, and play other fun games.

Students enjoyed the sack races.

Throwing balls through the Noodle hoops was fun.

We make even waiting in line fun.

The mummy relay race was a blast!

We learned some skills to help us play tennis.

The bouncy relays were fun.

We enjoyed the beach ball relay.

Thank you to all of the parent volunteers that helped make this a special day for our students! We couldn't have had such a successful day without you. We appreciate all that you do!

Surprise Ice Cream Party

On Friday, our book buddies surprised us with an ice cream party. The children were delighted and surprised to see their 4th grade book buddies in the classroom after lunch.
Mrs. Harman announcing the surprise to our class.

For testing, our class was paired up with Mrs. Harman's 4th grade class as their testing buddies. Our class made cards for Mrs. Harman's 4th graders to wish them luck and encourage them to do their best. We also sent them surprises throughout the week. Mrs. Harman's students were so excited to see what our class prepared for them each day. They wanted to do something special for our class. We enjoyed being book buddies with them this year. This will be a special memory for the children to remember from this year.

Mother's Day Tea

Thank you to all of the mothers, grandmothers, and visitors that came to our Mother's Day Tea on Friday. Students enjoyed performing a song and reciting a poem. They each shared a special poem they wrote about their mothers. We worked all week to prepare some special surprises for our mothers on this special day. Thank you for making this a special day for our students. They were excited to share how much their mothers meant to them.

Happy Mother's Day!

gentlemen of the tea party

ladies of the tea party

Students enjoyed time on Thursday to celebrate the Kentucky Derby with a tea party. Dressed in their nice Derby attire, students enjoyed decorating something else to wear. Boys decorated neck ties and girls decorated beautiful Derby hats. Students had a fun time celebrating. Thank you to all of the parents that were able to send in items and spend time helping with the tea party. It will be a day to remember.
