Community Worker Day at CME

Our kindergarten community workers.

Our kindergarten students dressed up as community workers on Friday. They had written reports on the community worker they wanted to be and presented their reports on Community Worker Day. Each student was able to present their information to the class nicely with confidence. They did a great job speaking in front of the class. We also had some students bring up volunteers to demonstrate their tools. This made our presentations very interesting. They all did a great job. After the presentations, we had a parade of Community Workers down to the office and into a few classrooms to show off their outfits. It was a fun day!

Happy Valentine's Day

Thank you to all of the parents and helpers that came to our class party last Monday. The children had a wonderful time making their boxes and boy did they enjoy filling them with valentines! What fun! Children enjoyed giving out their valentines and looking at them on Valentine's Day. We also played Valentine Bingo, graphed conversation hearts, and made some fun Valentine's crafts. We enjoy fun holiday activities.
